Meter Decorating
Help make Main Street Everett cherry and bright this holiday season by decorating a parking meter!
Participants may begin decorating Nov. 16th and decorations must be up for judging by Nov. 24th. All decorations must be removed between January 2, 2025 and January 5, 2025.
The theme this year is Candy Land; please consider the theme when planning your design. You must include a description of your display to receive a meter assignment.
Parade
The New Ideas Committee with the help of the community will be sponsoring the Home for Christmas Parade on Friday, November 29, 2024. The theme this year is Candy Land.
Lineup will begin at 4:00 pm, near the Everett Train Station, the parade will end at N Hopewell St. The parade will start at 5:00 pm.
Trophies will be awarded for each of the following categories:
1. Best theme
2. Most unusual
3. Best decorated vehicle
Preregistration is due by November 1, 2024. You MUST be registered to be part of the parade.
Vendors
Participants may begin set-up for the event at 12 pm on Friday, November 29, 2024. Cars must be off the street by 1:30 pm. A 10 x 10 outdoor space will be provided. No electric sites will be available.

Snowflake Memory Ornaments

Celebrate or remember your family member or someone special during the Christmas season.
Snowflake memory ornaments will be placed on a two-sided handcrafted Christmas tree that will be placed over a parking meter in downtown Everett. The tree and ornaments will be displayed throughout the 2024 holiday season.
The name of your special person and a brief message can be included on your snowflake memory ornament. The writing area for the ornament is 2 – 1/2 ” diameter. To ensure placement of your ornament(s) on the tree for the Hometown for Christmas event, please submit your order on or before November 20, 2024. Ornaments are $5 each.
